This office is responsible for processing all international student applications, registration, and non-immigration matters. It also provides the following verification letters and forms:

You must fill out a request and have a receipt or student ID upon pickup. Allow 5 working days for preparation. The office also replaces lost I-20's; please allow 5 working days for preparation.
Officers are also available to answer questions about visas and admission requirements.
Note: In addition, you will need to submit the following admission requirements directly to International Admissions:
TOEFL score of 450 (133 CBT).
Essay (describing your reasons for applying to Santa Monica College usually one or two pages)
Official Transcripts from your secondary school and/or college or university. If the transcript is not in English you will need to have an official translation in English.
Complete and submit the International Student Financial Statement. In addition, the application and/or sponsor(s) must submit a bank statement showing a minimum of $20,532 USD to meet SMC's estimated tuition and living expenses. Further financial documentation may be required.
General Requirements for International Students. You must read, sign, and return this with your application.
Receiving Your Documents: If you would like to receive your I-20 and admission documents by express mail, please pre-pay for shipping at https://study.eshipglobal.com. Create an account and pre-pay. When you are asked to enter a “Student ID#”, please enter your Santa Monica College ID number if you have received it, or enter 90405 if you do not have a Santa Monica College ID number. We will print out the shipping label and mail your documents. We can also ship your documents by airmail at no charge to you.
